Football Player

The week after going to the Tech game, Daniel was ready to play football. He came out of his room with a winter mitten on one hand and while holding another, asked me, "Mommy, could you help me put this glove on?" I put it on his other hand, and he said, "Now I'm like a football player!" He started running around the room, then paused and said, "Mommy, where's my helmet?" Well, we don't have a football helmet, but we do have a gladiator helmet, so we pulled that out of the closet, along with his football. He ran all over the living room in that gear. He would throw the football up and then fall on the ground "like a football player!"
