We had a pretty low-key party this year, but with quite a few guests. We kept it simple by just doing cake/ice cream and some dinosaur pudding cups. The kids ran amok after cake, and we avoided doing too many presents.
The birthday boy requested a dinosaur cake:
We had the Calvo family, Black family, Jones family, and Sellers family here to celebrate. Our playroom was absolute chaos, but the kids had fun!
For his birthday, Daniel got plenty of presents, despite his friends being told not to bring anything.
Daddy & Mommy: working engine replica and USA map to hang on his wall
Abuelo & Abuela: scooter
Grandpa & Grandma: shirt, pants, and Hexbug
Uncle Luis: safari hat and ant farm
Uncle Brian & Aunt Cristi: squigz building toy
Uncle Josh & Aunt Pam: Legos
Uncle Brian & Aunt Heather: fossil digging kit and dinosaur puzzle
Grandma Fox: money
Calvo family: frisbees
Sometimes it's hard to believe that Daniel is six. He's a smart, determined, sweet boy, and I wouldn't trade the world for him.
